The Key to Prodigious Universities and Programs
Mathematics as the most basic science influences directly the understanding and performance at almost all faculties such as engineering/science, life science, business and behavioural science. Both Ad Fns and Calculus are university admission major requirements for high school applicants. Grade 12 transcripts will be uploaded through Ontario University Application Center to universities each January. Two maths out of six weigh over half of the total performance in real term.

The Gap among Different Grades in Math
Math turns much unusually harder from Grade 11 Functions. It is hard to catch up in next class if not understood today or made up at home. Theoretically an average student may spend just 7~8 hours a week by following textbook examples to finish homework. However most students keep bad habits such as too much extracurricular activities, computer games/social media, listen to music during study, perfunctory attitude in homework, reluctance to think hard or study only before tests---. It is very difficult in changing study routine in short time in declining math. Grade 11 is the most important and low math marks will shake the very foundation of grade 12 and inflicts a blow on the student’s confidence. Advanced Functions and Calculus/Vectors with heavy volume and content are both required for grade 12 five days a week for the entire year.

Pedagogical Features
Our in-person group classroom offers a large, clean, and quiet classroom with super big windows and whiteboard, overwhelmingly better than day schools or any other tutoring serevices to help students focus. We explain theories in detail, answer questions, quiz students, check school assignment, provide essential exercises and written color handouts to maximize the effect.

Teaching Methods and Efficacy Evaluation
We give mediocre students fundamental and essential exercises, seeking feasible solutions to capture the key of learning and regain faith in math. For students with better performance, we will review their steps in assignments to filter and avoid careless mistakes through changing their calculation habits before attempting challenge problems. Parents can always know the true learning status of their children by school test results and their daily life pattern at home. An immediate action is required if a student makes no progress in two months at school.

The Real Knowledge Tells All
Ontario universities have severe competitions. Students taking shortcuts by deliberately avoiding regular course from their own secondary school and getting grade 12 credits elsewhere do not have the foundation required. They always end up at suspension, which wastes time and money. A student should always be making full efforts in studies. It is my hope that everyone in my class not only improves the scores, but finds pleasure in learning, and becomes top in his sphere of expertise.
